Realize today I haven't blogged in MONTHS!   Whats new in Kristy's life you ask?  Pretty much nothing!  haha!

Enjoying our new house SOOOO much!  I love it there - so do all of our animals.  We've gained a farm.  As if you ask Kathie and Candi who just spent the weekend with us - covered in dog and cat hair haha!   We now have 3 cats and a dog.  Blame Will for the third cat and blame me for the dog haha!

I cannot wait for spring though when we can get out in the yard and clean up dog crap and then plant some shrubs and cedars....and then hopefully find a nice plot for small VERY small garden.  I want tomatos, green onion, peas and carrots.  Thats it!  So it won't be very big.  And with our overwhelming garden of last spring/summer that we rented from the city I think its a good thing we aren't going to make it very big.  haha!  That thing got weeds soooo bad!   I dunno I might just dig the plot this year and just keep weeding it and then next year plant the actual garden.    Either way I'm looking forward to the time outside!  I don't think we'll take to much for holidays this year - might go meet Kathie and Dave at some inbetween point and camp/cabin it with them.  Not sure where but we'll do some googling.  Then just spend the rest of our holidays in the yard and maybe visit the beach a few times.  Sounds like a good summer to me

But otherwise nothing much really new with us - just keeping on with life - working and enjoying every free moment!

Things are good!  We have been keeping pretty busy!  So guess what....Will got an xbox 360!  Lucky bum hey?   It was a descent deal though $399 and it included Guitar Hero 2 with the guitar,  and Forza racing something or other and a 20G hard drive....so considering each game sells for $60 - 80 and the guitar alone is $100 it seemed like a good deal.

By the way - just to put this out there - if anyone is interested Will and I are hosting a Christmas at our house this year and we've invited Rose and Ralph to come out if they can.   So any other family you are more than welcome - just let us know ahead of time if you can  

Ummmm nothing else really new - we are just doing good - waiting for dreadful winter to be upon us.  But we are all set - we got 2 snow shovels for our housewarming - so you can't beat that!!  I think we'll take one back though - you only really need one unless we both are out shovelling our very short sidewalk haha....

 Noticed I haven't blogged in a while - things are still going really well.  I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow - its the long weekend - Thanksgiving for heaven's sakes - and I am working.  And leave it to my family too to have the Thanksgiving dinner Saturday evening instead of Sunday/Monday like the rest of the world.  So I get to work and miss dinner.  WE are still going down to Calgary to visit everyone even though we get left overs.  The most exciting part of the weekend though is that we are going to IKEA on Saturday to get a new kitchen table WHOO!  If we don't get the one from Ikea they have one in XS Cargo that I just love - but its more money - so we'll see what will happen.

We decided our feature wall in the kitchen will be BLACK!  It looks soooo neat against the Mexican red in the rest of the kitchen - I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  So its coming together really nicely - I can't wait to see it finally when everything is in its place and clean!  With painting and moving things - the house is still a disaster but we are adjusting well and just working as we can.  I was a bit stressed about painting a wall black - but will started it for me last night and it looks so neat!  I'm glad we chose those colors!    Now to find some art with blacks and reds and browns and yellows in it for the contrast on the black wall. 

OHHHH AND I'm doing wall stencilling of sayings.....in the kitchen I can't remember what the one I bought says...something about love and cooking hmmm....then in the living room we are going to hang LIVE WELL, LAUGH OFTEN, LOVE MUCH!  Which I think pretty much sums it all up.  Can't wait to see what it looks like

ITS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't beat a Friday although today started out like a Monday when the new shower caddy thing we got from walmart (one of those corner shelving units for a shower) fell right ontop of me in the shower and dumped all our soaps, shampoos, etc right on me!  Arg!   THEN I put my shirt on inside out almost left the house that way and also then realized my fly was undone!  Good Grief!  But it has improved since then.  Thank goodness.

WE got our old place all cleaned out last night and are going to meet with our landlord tonight to get our damage deposit back and walk through the place make sure there is no damage.  Hopefully he'll just say Yep its all good - and we can walk away with $700 again   WHOO! 

Anyhow things are just going so well with our new house - not looking forward to the new payments we'll have but its all worth it in the end.  Live VERY VERY cheap for the next few years. 

There was a seat sale on yesterday with Westjet to Vancouver for $37 each way + taxes - which is pretty cheap BUT when we flew out in June it was $11 each way + taxes....so therefore we got the better deal!    And we really can't afford to go out there again this year - next summer though - we are going to spend 1 week travelling through BC visiting family and then going out to the island for 1 week camping and travelling and visiting my dad.  I freaking love it out there!  Can't wait to go back

I'm so giddy today - its a great day! 

Although its only Tuesday - and I had a fight with Telus first thing this morning it is turning out to be wonderful.

My great Pal Rebecca got engaged!  They are such a cute couple - and so sweet.  I'm stoked for them!   And I'm soooo excited for them - its an uncontrollable excitement!   

And really thats the only GREAT thing about today...

Our boss at work is gone for 3 weeks thats also great - but its lasting for 3 weeks haha.

Will's and my house is coming along very nicely - need to touch up some paint spots in the living room - and then start the kitchen - I dunno if I'll get to that tonight but we'll see.  The cable guy is coming tonight - Will's going to be over at friends of ours using the computer for his hockey pool cause ours was to be hooked up YESTERDAY and then they decided to not hook it up till Thursday - THANKS TELUS!  Anyhow fought with them long enough to get it hooked up for tomorrow THANK GOD!  We'll see though - I'm still pretty ticked.  I ordered the phone hookup last week for Monday so Will could be on the internet and phone Today and well....anyways whatever - its a small thing.  Easily thrown to the side.

Got the kitchen mostly unpacked last night - have to organize a few things and get rid of the empty boxes.  Still have some stuff at our old house and I plan to go there tomorrow/Thursday and clean up.  I keep forgetting tonight the cable guy is coming so I can't make any trips there - and then tomorrow night I have a friggin training from 6 - 8 pm to go to and thats interferring with my cleaning schedule.  haha....But still have Thursday and Friday to get it all cleaned up. 

I plan to go to IKEA on Saturday so this all has to be cleaned and taken care of before Saturday haha.  There are a few things I'd like to pick up.

Anyhow - yes things are going very well.
